Violet named to the 2025 Digital Health 100

We’re proud to share that Violet has once again been named to the New York Digital Health 100 (DH100), a prestigious list recognizing the most innovative and impactful health startups in the New York region. Published annually by Digital Health New York (DHNY), the DH100 highlights companies shaping the future of health care through technology, data, and forward-thinking solutions.

“At Violet, we know that culturally competent care is more than just a moral imperative—it’s a proven strategy that improves patient outcomes and reduces health care costs,” says Gaurang Choksi, CEO and Founder of Violet. “We’ve seen firsthand how community health workers, like promotoras, have successfully helped manage chronic conditions such as diabetes in Latine/x communities by providing culturally relevant education and support. Our approach builds on this principle by equipping providers with the knowledge to address social determinants of health and deliver preventive screenings tailored to specific cultures and identities. This not only improves the patient experience but also drives significant cost savings. Being named to the Digital Health 100 reaffirms the impact of our work, and we’re honored to be recognized alongside other companies driving meaningful change in health care.”

“Now in its sixth year, the New York DH100 has evolved and grown, and in that time, the digital health ecosystem in New York has also reached unprecedented levels of innovation and impact,” said Bunny Ellerin, co-founder and CEO, DHNY. “We are honored to celebrate these organizations, whose dedication to transformation and progress is driving the future of health care.”

This recognition shows Violet’s continued commitment to helping health organizations build provider networks that effectively serve diverse patient populations. Our proprietary Violet Benchmarks and analytics offer actionable insights into provider readiness and gaps in culturally responsive care. Paired with our evidence-based clinical education, these insights equip providers with the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality care.

By tailoring our education to the unique needs of LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, Disabled, and other historically underserved communities, we drive meaningful behavior change, enabling providers to proactively address health disparities and improve patient outcomes. Our analytics empower organizations with the data to track progress, support health equity strategies, and demonstrate their commitment to culturally responsive care.

What’s next for Violet?

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain focused on expanding our impact. In 2025, Violet will continue to expand our provider benchmarking capabilities, develop new education tailored to underrepresented communities, and collaborate with health care organizations nationwide to drive systemic change in care delivery. Our work is far from over, and we’re excited to keep pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.

Thank you to DHNY for this incredible recognition—and to our partners, customers, and team for making this achievement possible. Let’s keep building a more inclusive, equitable health care system together.
